Africa
Secondary school national exam promotion rates increased by 74% for all students, and nearly 200% for girls, meaning more students could move to a higher level of education.
In 2020, amidst a global pandemic, TeachUNITED schools in Tanzania saw growth in both math and literacy, including a growth score 21% higher in math and 18% higher in literacy compared to control schools.
Latin America
Students showed an average growth of 12% in school pass rates.
In 2019, students in the Sarapiqui region of Costa Rica had an average of 25% growth over baseline on TU assessments.
