What’s your “why”?
I wanted to be an educator to make a difference in the world. I was so fortunate to have had amazing teachers who contributed to making me the man that I am today, and I wanted to make sure that as many kids as possible would have the same opportunities that I did. Now, as a principal my goal is to continue to be an inspiration and positive influence for my students but also to grow and develop teachers (and other administrators) into master educators. I LOVE what I do!!
What’s your favorite food and why?Â
Vietnamese food!! I don’t really have a “why” here; I just LOVE the taste!
Do you have any pets?Â
My family has a Stafford Terrier named “Pickles.” (or more accurately, I think that we belong to her!)
What do you enjoy most about your work with TeachUNITED?Â
The TeachUNITED team is phenomenal. Every time I work on a TU project or lead a cohort webinar, I know that I am working with and for quality people who want the same things that I do. In addition to working with such an awesome team, I am loving the opportunity to meet and grow alongside the amazing administrators that make up my cohorts! I have said many times that I think I may be learning just as much as those administrators who are taking my course! If you are reading this and you are one of my cohort members, YOU ROCK!!
